After picking you up in a private vehicle from the centrally located hotels, Bus Terminal or Port in Colonia del Sacramento, we will head towards the road N° 21 to the wonderful Carmelo`s city.
A professional guide will be with you during the trip and will tell you all about the curiosities of this city, its history and its main attractions. We`ll be heading north to arrive to Carmelo`s city, where we can see the fertile fields where livestock and agricultural production stand out.
Then, we`ll pass by the Seré Beach, whose native fauna reserve is very well protected and where we`ll see the Yacht berth, which belongs to one of the most attractive spots for nautical sports.
Following that, approaching the Arroyo de las Vacas, we will come across the important Puente Giratorio de Carmelo, known as the Carmelitano Golden Gate, ideal for taking a souvenir photo as if it were a postcard.
When we get to Constituyentes Avenue, we will go to Artigas Square where we will see the Monument that symbolizes the founding of this city, the Historic Temple of Carmen and the Parish Archive.
After going into the history and heritage of this small gorgeaus town, it will also dazzle us with its intense wines with grapes of French origin. So we`ll visit a winery just a few kilometers away and taste one of the most representative wines of Uruguay, such as Tannat wine.
Further more, we will have free time for lunch (not included).
And after having had a day of new and refreshing experiences, we will return again to the centrally located hotels, port or bus terminal in Colonia.
