Day 1 -
The tour starts when we are picked up at our hotel in downtown Buenos Aires at 06:00 hs. We will travel the ferry terminal, located in the neighborhood of Puerto Madero, on the shore of the de la Plata River, the widest in the world and a natural border between Argentina and Uruguay.
Once our vehicle leaves us at the terminal, we will go to the Departures counter, where we will present our documentation for check-in and then we will be able to board the ferry.
At 07.30 hs we start sailing and during the course of 2.15 hours, we will be able to enjoy all the facilities the ship offers. Whether sitting in our comfortable seats or out to the balconies to observe our journey, we will be in one of the safest and most reliable ships.
By 09.45 hs we will arrive to Montevideo, where we will be picked up by a private car that will take us to our hotel, where we will be able to leave our luggage and prepare the check-in.
At 11:00 hs approx. we will picked up by our professional guide will take us around Montevideo in a complete private City Sightseeing Tour. This excursion of 3.5 hours covers the most charming places in the City. We are going to get familiar with this historic city, as we explore the highlights in the comfort of a private vehicle.
This panoramic tour will see the main sights of the city: Plaza Independencia, the national government head office, the Palacio Salvo, Teatro Solis, Port Market, Agricultural Market, Legislative Palace, Obelisk of the Constituency, the Centenario Stadium and more. A circuit guided through the main and most picturesque neighborhoods of the city. We will return passing by the United Nations promenade, and stopping at Plaza Virgilio to observe one of the most beautiful panoramic views of the city and its coast. We will finish the tour in the city center, where we can choose to have lunch at one of the many gastronomic options the city offers or we can go back to our hotel.
We will have the afternoon and evening free to continue touring this wonderful city.
Day 2 -
In the morning we will have breakfast in our hotel and then have the rest of the day to enjoy it.
Montevideo has a great variety of cultural, culinary and recreational activities.
There are highly recommended tours to the wineries that are located on the outskirts of the city, at the countryside. We can choose for half-day or full day tours with lunch in a cellar (not included, ask for options).
During the evening, we can also opt for a dinner/show at one of the restaurants in town, where we will be able to see a clear demonstration of the particular Uruguayan culture. The representations of candombe, milonga, tango and folklore will let us speechless (not included, ask for options).
Day 3 -
After breakfast at the hotel, we will check-out and we will be able to choose between two options:
Take a private transfer from the hotel to go to the port and take the ferry back to Buenos Aires in the morning, or have the day off in Montevideo and returning in the evening ferry.
For the first option, a private transfer will pick us up at 09.30 hs to take us to the port. After presenting our documentation, we will board the ferry. The departure is 11 am and will take us to the port of Buenos Aires. At approximately at 13.15 hs, a private vehicle will await for us to take to the hotel in Buenos Aires.
For the second option, after check-out at the hotel, we can leave our bags there to continue touring Montevideo.
At 18.30 pm we must be back at the hotel for the private transfer to take us to the port terminal. After boarding, the ferry will depart at 20.15 pm to arrive at Buenos Aires at 22.30 hs approximately. A private vehicle awaits for us to take us to the hotel in Buenos Aires.
