Between February 11 and 19, 2017 will be held the 45th edition of the Buenos Aires ATP. The organization, in the event of presentation, confirmed the presence of three players of first level: the Japanese Kei Nishikori, the Spanish David Ferrer and the Serbian Janko Tipsarevic.
Kei Nishikori will be the great figure of the tournament, taking into account that he has not participated since 2012, when he was eliminated in the quarterfinals by Swiss Stan Wawrinka. His return will be like the fifth racket of the world and the great candidate to win the contest.
The Spaniard, who will be one of the toughest opponents in Nishikori`s goal, is currently ranked 21st. In addition, it will have a special purpose: to become the second player to win the tournament (he would get it for the fourth time) behind Guillermo Vilas, king in eight occasions of the national contest.
The 32-year-old Serbian is in a bad moment of his career, after accumulating some injuries and to be placed in the 144th position. He received a special invitation to be present, bearing in mind that he holds four titles in singles.
