Day 1 : Lima - Paracas
The day trip
starts very early in the morning. We will pick you up from the hotel located in
the city of Lima to take you to the
bus station and start a 4-hour journey to the town of Paracas. Upon arrival, we are going to take you until the airport of Pisco.
Here, you are going to live an amazing adventure of 1 hour
and a half flying over the mysterious Nazca
Lines. During the flight, you will see impressive figures as the monkey, the spider, the Condor, and
different kind of drawings on these wonderful pampas.
This amazing geoglyphs were traced by the Nazca culture, a pre Inca civilization
developed between 700 B.C. and 200 A.D. These drawings can be seen by the air
and they are located 280 miles south of the city of Lima. They have been seeing for the first time in 1547, however, the Peruvian archaeologist Julio C. Tello started to investigate them in 1929. Furthermore, the Nazca lines were declared as World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1994.
After the Nazca Lines
tour, you will be transferred to your hotel located in Paracas, to have a
well-deserved afternoon rest.
Day 2 : Paracas - Lima
The tour starts early in the morning after picking you up
from your hotel located in Paracas.
We are going to go to El Chaco pier and take the boat to tour Ballestas Islands, which is part of the
incredible Paracas National Reserve.
These rocky islands are located 30 minutes away from the coast of Peru.
You will enjoy a spectacular sea life, as sea lions
and a birds’ diversity all over the place as Humboldt penguins, pelicans, among others migratory birds. Also,
you can admire the famous Candelabrum from
the boat, a big geoglyph that could belong to the Nazca ancient culture. You
will get impressed of the Peruvian coast.
After the visit, we will transfer you to the bus
station to back to Lima, and take you to the hotel.
