Very close to the Cotopaxi Volcano there is a blue-turquoise lagoon, this color is due to the high minerals concentration that its waters possess, this lagoon is located inside of the "Quilotoa Volcano crater" hence its name "Laguna del Quilotoa ", Inside the lagoon there are springs, which from the shore can be perceived as bubbling stelae that ascend to the surface, this volcano has a height of 3800 msnm.
