The excursion begins on United Nations Boulevard at 2:30 p.m. and from there we head to the “Ciudad Mitad del Mundo”, where we can see the monument that divides the northern hemisphere from the southern hemisphere of the planet.
We will have the possibility of living a unique experience that defies the laws of physics within the site museum we will interact with different themes to understand this phenomenon that occurs at 0º latitude.
We will have the opportunity to learn the Coriolis effect, the precession and nutation movements of the earth through the Gyroscope, also discover why we weigh less in this city and learn about the centrifugal force.
You will have free time to take the best photographs with one foot in the north and the other in the south, explore the sensory rooms, photomontage and touch screens where we can obtain information about the different regions of Ecuador, learning about its culture, gastronomy and tourism.
After visiting this privileged place, we can stamp our passport with the stamp “From the center of the Planet” and then begin the return to the starting point in the city of Quito.
