The experience begins around 8 am in Calderón Park and from there we will begin a journey of between 40 and 60 minutes until we reach Cajas National Park.
After entering the park, we will begin a walk along the delimited trails where we can observe and come into contact with flora and native fauna.
Continuing, we will walk along the marked trails of the Polylepis forest. These forests of polylepis trees, also known as queñuas, are mainly found at high altitudes. They are trees that adapt very well to extreme conditions and have a unique appearance, with thin trunks and twisted branches.
After several hours exploring diverse landscapes, we stop to enjoy a comforting lunch in a typical restaurant.
Then, with a spirit full of new experiences, we begin the return trip to the charming city of Cuenca, taking with us unforgettable memories of this day in the wild
