Day 1 – Welcome to the jungle and first adventure
As soon as you set foot in Leticia, the capital of the Colombian Amazon, our team will be waiting to take you on your first great experience. After a lunch featuring local flavors, you`ll choose your first adventure: soar among the treetops on an exciting canopy tour or glide through jungle waters on a kayak tour. Whichever you choose, the adrenaline and connection with the jungle are guaranteed. At dusk, we will transfer to the chosen hotel to rest and enjoy dinner amidst the tranquility of the Amazon.
Day 2 – Exploring the heart of the Amazon
The day begins early with a revitalizing breakfast, because what awaits us is a spectacular tour of the must-see attractions of the Amazon. From the port of Leticia, we will embark on a cruise along the majestic Amazon River, where the jungle opens before us in all its grandeur. Our first stop will be the famous Monkey Island, where these little inhabitants will welcome us with their curiosity and energy. Next, we`ll visit the indigenous community of Macedonia or Puerto Alegría to learn about their customs and craft making.
Back on the river, we`ll keep an eye out for the iconic pink and gray dolphins, fascinating creatures that inhabit these waters. Afterward, we`ll arrive at Puerto Nariño, a charming town where the jungle and community life coexist in perfect harmony. There, a buffet lunch awaits us with typical ingredients from the region.
To close the day on a high note, we will visit a nature reserve to admire the Lotus Flower and the Victoria Regia Plant, aquatic species of surprising dimensions. In the late afternoon, we will return by boat to Leticia, where dinner and rest at the hotel await us.
Day 3 – Last moments between Colombia and Brazil
After breakfast, we will take advantage of the morning for a panoramic tour of Leticia and Tabatinga, the neighboring city in Brazil. We will visit the most emblematic tourist signs, make a border crossing and explore traditional shops on the Brazilian side, ideal for purchasing authentic souvenirs. Finally, we will climb to the La Komara Lookout, a strategic point from where you can observe the endless landscapes of the jungle.
With this last view of the Amazon etched in our memories, we will say goodbye and take the transfer to the airport, thus closing this short but intense adventure, which has taken us through the very essence of the jungle in just three days.
