We will meet the guide at the meeting point informed, this activity may start between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM, you choose the time that is most comfortable for you.
Our first destination is the Plaza de los Coches, where we will find several street vendors selling empanadas, one of the most popular street foods in Colombia. Here you will not want to miss the specialty of the region, seafood empanadas.
Next, we will go to Media Luna Street, where we will find several "arepas" stalls, another of the most popular street foods in Colombia. Arepas are corn tortillas filled with cheese, meat, eggs, or avocado, and they make a quick and delicious lunch on the go. The most famous in the coastal region is the Arepa de Huevo.
Afterwards, we will walk to the Plaza Santo Domingo, where we will find a stall selling "carimañolas ". These are cassava dough balls filled with meat or cheese and fried in hot oil. You can accompany your carimañola with a "coconut lemonade", which is a refreshing and delicious drink made with lemon juice and coconut.
Our next destination is Calle de the Church, where we will find several vendors selling fruits, soft drinks and salpicón, there we can enjoy the most exotic flavors and aromas of the region.
Finally, we will finish our tour of the area of Parque de las Flores, where we will find several stalls selling "buñuelos", a delicious ball of fried dough made with cheese and yucca. Fritters are a popular dessert and are served hot and fresh, ideal to accompany with a cup of Colombian coffee and close the wonderful tour of authentic street flavors.
