We will begin the experience with a pick-up at your hotel in downtown Cartagena between 3:00 and 3:30 PM. As you head to the Barú Peninsula, you will enjoy a panoramic tour of approximately 45 minutes through the beautiful streets of Cartagena, admiring the vibrant colonial architecture and rich culture of the city. During this trip, you will cross the Canal del Dique, which separates Barú from the mainland.
Once in Barú, you will walk about five minutes to the Mambo Beach Club, where you can relax on a lounge chair or directly on the beach, surrounded by the impressive turquoise waters and white sand of Playa Blanca, the only public beach on the peninsula.
While you enjoy a delicious Caribbean menu, using your $30,000 COP voucher at the restaurant, you will prepare for the highlight of the afternoon: the sunset. This is a show that will leave you speechless. Breathless as the sun dips below the horizon, dying the sky in shades of gold and orange.
Then, as night falls, we`ll take you by boat to witness the fascinating luminous plankton phenomenon, where you`ll experience how the darkness transforms into a starry sky over the ocean.
The activity will culminate around 9:00 PM, at which time you`ll return to your hotel, full of memories of a magical afternoon in Barú.
