Our adventure starts at 07:00 AM at Parque de la 93, this will be the first meeting point where you can arrive. Once everyone is on board the van, we will leave for the second meeting point, where we will arrive at approximately at 08:00 AM, we will meet the other travelers in the journalists` park and undertake road to the outskirts of the city.
Around At 09:30 AM we will make a stop to visit the main and most traditional coffee-growing towns in the region. We will have time to take pictures and admire the landscape and learn a bit of history from the place.
At 11:00 AM we will arrive to the Cafetera farm, where we will immerse ourselves in the world of Colombian coffee. We will learn about the history, the cultivation process, the harvest and the production of one of the finest coffees in the world. We will have the opportunity to taste some of the best coffees in the region and learn about the innovative production techniques.
The farm to visit varies according to the time of year and weather conditions, however you will always visit farms renowned for the quality of their coffee, and traditional growing and harvesting methods that have been passed down from generation to generation. During the visit to the farm, all visitors will be able to take a tour of the coffee plantations, and also enjoy some souvenirs and great variety of coffee-related products.
After our experience at the hacienda, we will head towards the town market square to discover the fresh and traditional products of the region, there we will taste a couple of exotic fruits from Colombia. At 02:00 PM, we will have time to have lunch in one of the typical restaurants of the area (lunch is not included).
At 03:00 PM, we will leave for Bogotá.
At 4:30 PM, we will arrive back at la Candelaria and at 5:30 PM we will finally arrive at Parque de la 93, where our tour will have come to an end.
