We will start our adventure on wheels from the informed meeting point. If you choose the group tour, you can do the morning tour that starts at 10:30 AM or the afternoon tour that starts at 01:30 PM . In case you opt for the private option, you choose the start time within the 08 AM to 03 PM time slot.
We suggest you arrive at the meeting point 15 minutes before, to welcome you, give instructions, meet you with the group and guides and receive the necessary equipment for the tour.
We will start pedaling through the charming Candelaria neighborhood, known for its cobbled streets and colonial architecture. We will visit emblematic places such as the Plaza de Bolívar, the Chorro de Quevedo, the Carrera Séptima and the environmental axis of Avenida Jimenez. We will walk through the narrow streets where Bogotá was founded, we will learn about its history and its transformation anecdotes that make it today the most important city in Colombia.
We will move towards the traditional market, according to the conditions of the day we will be able to visit the La Macarena or the Paloquemao Market, in both cases, you will live a unique gastronomic and local experience ; you will delight yourself among exotic flavors and fruits, you will learn about typical Colombian dishes, local ingredients and the culinary diversity of the region.
With dilated senses, we will continue our journey towards the vibrant street art murals. We will visit some of the most impressive and significant graffiti in Bogotá, discovering the history, meaning and creativity behind each work.
Each pedal stroke will take us further into the city, we will reach the neighborhoods of Teusaquillo and the Los Mártires District, where you will experience a more youthful, lively and alternative rhythm of life. We will stroll through squares and tree-lined streets, enjoying the unique architecture that combines elegant republican houses with modern buildings. And we will visit some of the main points of each neighborhood such as the Plaza de Toros de Santamaría and the Parkway, a gastronomic and artistic corridor, full of shops for all tastes.
We will return to the city center passing through the famous Santa Fe neighborhood, home to a vibrant art scene where you can find numerous art galleries and studios of local artists.
After 4 hours on wheels, we will end our bike tour returning to the initial meeting point. There, we will prepare to rest while we enjoy a fun competition playing tejo, a traditional game that has been part of Colombian culture for centuries and has become a symbol of national identity.
