The adventure begins when our local guide picks you up at your accommodation, this activity can begin between 7 AM and 2 PM, you choose the time that is most comfortable for you. We recommend starting very early in the morning to make the most of the activity.
The driver will take you through the mountains to your first destination: El Cerro de Guadalupe, a Bogotá jewel that is located at 3300 meters above sea level and where a 15 meter sculpture of the Virgin of the Immaculate Conception rests. More than 1000 parishioners come to this hill during the weekends, in search of blessings and a time of tranquility and disconnection from the intense noises of the metropolis.
In the Cerro de Guadalupe , you will get the first views of the city, while you enjoy a typical aperitif.
After the brief snack and time to take panoramic photographs, you will receive your horse and you will embark on an exciting ride of approximately 2 hours towards Cerro de Monserrate. The path along the rocky trails will take you back to the religious colonialism of Colombia. Among the forest and fauna of the eastern mountain range, you will learn about indigenous and rural traditions, and their connections with the hills, before reaching the famous Monserrate viewpoint and its cathedral.

Once in Monserrate, at 3152 meters above sea level, You can rest after the ride and enjoy the incredible views: the entire savannah at your disposal. You will be welcome to explore the hill, cultural and historical emblem of the city of Bogotá. You will learn about its myths and legends that still survive. And you will visit its main monument that dates back to the 17th century: The Fallen Lord of Monserrate.
Before returning to the city, you will enjoy free time for lunch and visit the artisan market. We will descend from the Monserrate hill towards the city by funicular (train) or cable car (cable).
The fascinating experience through the hills will end with the return to your hotel after 6 intense hours between mountains, horses and stories.
