Prepare yourself for an experience that pushes the limits of imagination with our thrilling "Ice Hike" on the Grey Glacier.
This ice adventure lasts about 5 hours. We’ll provide you with a backpack containing a harness and crampons, then take a boat to the island located in the middle of the glacier. From there, we’ll walk approximately 40 minutes to 1 hour uphill on rocky terrain of moderate difficulty to reach the ice access point.
From this elevated position, we’ll enjoy panoramic views of the Andes peaks and Lake Grey. Just before entering the glacier, we’ll teach you how to use the equipment and provide you with a helmet and ice axe.
It is very important to dress as we recommend, not only for your comfort but also for your safety. Sunglasses and gloves are essential, along with waterproof clothing, high-ankle boots, and trekking pants, as well as layers to adapt to changing weather conditions.
We will discover impressive ice caves as we explore the glacial formations that make Grey Glacier a natural wonder.
The "Ice Hike" on Grey Glacier is much more than a hike; it’s an adrenaline-filled experience. Every step and every crevasse crossed will remind you that you’re pushing boundaries and experiencing the extraordinary.
Come to one of the most amazing places on earth—we’re waiting for you!
