Rafting In Maipo River: Extreme Adventure In Santiago De Chile

We will begin our experience at approximately 9 am, leaving from Santiago towards the area of the Cajón del Maipo, a spectacular Andean canyon located 900 meters above sea level in the Pre-Cordillera of Santiago, known for its natural beauty and adventure activities. The Maipo River is born as a mountain stream on the slopes of the Maipo Volcano, and from this point it begins its descent and increase in flow.

Here we will meet the team of rafting instruction experts, who will give us a brief safety talk before starting the activity, this is to ensure the correct development of this experience.

After receiving the necessary instruction by part of our team, we are ready to enjoy 14 kilometers of pure adrenaline.

During the descent through the waters of the Maipo River, we will be able to face the challenge of navigating from moderate levels to the fastest ones, without a doubt the most exciting. The descent takes about 1 hour, so when you return to Santiago you will have time to enjoy a delicious lunch on the way or eat a typical local empanada (not included).
