We will depart today from our hotel at approximately 2:00 p.m. on the way to Laguna Cejar , located approximately 20 km
from San Pedro de Atacama,
at approximately 2,600 meters above sea level.
This turquoise lagoon is surrounded by salts of various shapes, an image
where the sky and the mountains intermingle to leave us speechless.
Laguna Cejar is characterized by its high salt content, similar to that of the Dead Sea in Israel, which makes it very easy to float in its waters due to the high density of the water.
It is surrounded by a unique natural environment, mountains and salt dunes that create a surreal landscape. We can enjoy a dip in the lagoon, experiencing the unique flotation, but we recommend avoiding submerging our heads due to the high salt content.

The Cejar Lagoon is a popular spot for birdwatching and photography, especially at sunset, when the sun reflects on the surface of the lagoon.

Today we can also visit two more places, part of these unique landscapes of the Atacama Desert.
The Ojos del Salar, which are two freshwater wells located very close together. They are called "Ojos"
because they are natural water sources that spring from the desert floor and create small pools of fresh water. They are undoubtedly an oasis in the middle of the desert and contrast sharply with the salinity of Laguna Cejar.
Here we can enjoy
the Ojos del Salar and take a refreshing
bath in the cool, crystal-clear waters surrounded by the aridity of the environment.
The last of the
places we will visit today will be the Tebenquiche
Laguna, a salt lagoon located in the middle of the Atacama salt flat and offering panoramic views of the surrounding mountains,
including the Andes.
The lagoon is home to a variety of birds, including flamingos, which we often find here foraging. We`ll see their elegance and colorful plumage up close in their natural habitat; it will be a unique experience.
One of the most magical moments will be enjoying a beautiful sunset in one of these lagoons, where we`ll enjoy a delicious and complete cocktail while watching the sky reflect its colors on the surface of the lagoon.
After this experience, we`ll return to downtown San Pedro to drop you off near the municipal parking lot. From there, you can explore the town a bit or return to your hotel on your own. If you prefer to take a private service, we can drop you off at the hotel where you`ll be staying. We picked up.
Be sure to bring warm clothes for the return trip and a camera to capture the stunning views and unforgettable moments. It`s also important to follow the safety instructions provided by your guide to enjoy this experience safely and in a way that respects the environment.
