Today we will embark together on this fascinating journey through the waters of the Strait of Magellan to discover the enigmatic Magdalena Island, a paradise of nature in the Punta Arenas region. We will start from Punta Arenas, we will check in at the terminal south bus in the city (Av. Colon 842), from here a transport takes us will take you to the Arturo Prat Pier where We will begin to breathe the anticipation of a unique experience. In it time you decide to go, either in the morning at 07:00 am or in the afternoon at 1:30 p.m., our team will be ready to welcome you and begin this adventure exploration.

 

The expected moment It arrives with the sail from the Arturo Prat Dock. On board, our bilingual guide will share fascinating information about the Strait of Magellan and the wonders that await us in the Monument Natural The Penguins. The departure begins at 08:00 am or 14:30 pm.

One of the moments climax approaches when we arrive at the majestic Magdalena Island at 10:30 am or 5:00 pm approximately. Upon arriving at the Island Magdalena, we will be welcomed by the majesty of the local fauna. The island is home to one of the largest Penguin Colonies in the region, and where these charming inhabitants of the island welcome us with their unique behaviors.

 

We will walk through the trails of the island for approximately an hour, where we will find ourselves face to face with friendly Magellanic penguins. We will observe their natural habitats, their fun interactions and We will capture enchanting moments while we enjoy its coastal surroundings. We will also be able to closely observe the life of the Dominican gulls, black-browed albatrosses and imperial cormorants. The island is a wildlife sanctuary, and every moment reveals the harmony of the nature.

The Landfall is scheduled for 12:00 am or 18:30 pm, thus culminating a day full of discoveries and connection with the marine life of the region.
