Day 1: Las Carretas – Paine Trail Big

Your trip begins from Puerto Natales with a transfer private towards the Torres del Paine National Park. You will walk through impressive Sendero Las Carretas, enjoying panoramic views of the park and the beautiful Lake Pehoé. After 6 hours of walking, you will arrive at the Refuge Paine Grande where you can rest and enjoy a comforting dinner.

 

Today we will start this adventure leaving early from Puerto Natales to head to the Torres del Paine National Park. We reach the Conaf administration from where we will begin the walk along the Las Carretas Trail to the Paine Refuge Big. You will have panoramic views of the Park throughout the tour and in the last stretch beautiful views of Lake Pehoé.

 

Upon reaching Paine Grande after checking in We can rest and enjoy dinner at the refuge in the afternoon.

 

Day 2: Hike to the Gray Refuge

After breakfast, we will embark on a hike towards the Gray Shelter through a winding valley. Along the way, you will be surprised by the ice floes of Lake Gray and the imposing views of the Southern Ice Field. We will descend through a mountainous forest and you will arrive at the refuge for an experience unforgettable in front of the Gray Glacier.

 

After breakfast Remember to order your box lunch and we will begin today`s trekking. The walk It begins through a narrow and winding valley that leads to Los Patos Lagoon. As we continue to move forward we will begin to see parts of the immense Southern Ice Fields, as well as the ice floes of the lake Gray.

 

After passing through the windy viewpoint, the path descends through a mountainous forest until reaching the Grey Refuge. If we continue walking for some 10 more minutes we will arrive at the Mirador del Glaciar Grey, where we will find ourselves face to face with the ice massif blue.


Like "option" and to make this adventure even more unforgettable, you can add an extra 3 or 4 hours round trip to go to the famous Hanging Bridges. It is by far the best glacier viewpoint. In addition to contemplating the impressive ice, you can see the depth of the ravines formed by the rivers and waterfalls that come from the Cordón Olguín.

 

Day 3: Hike to Paine Grande

Today after enjoy breakfast at the Refuge Grey and don`t forget to order your box lunch to start the adventure.

 

If we couldn`t visit the suspension bridges the previous afternoon, we will be able to leave very early today in the tomorrow and walk to the first or second bridge, to return quickly and begin the walk to the Paine refuge Big.

 

A few minutes from Start walking and we will marvel at the spectacular landscapes of Campos de Hielo Sur and the floes of Lake Grey. This adventure will be in Ascent through a mountainous forest until reaching the windy Grey Glacier Viewpoint. We will follow the walk until you reach Los Patos Lagoon, where we will begin the descent through a narrow and windy valley that takes us directly to the Paine Grande Refuge, Here We will enjoy a comforting dinner before resting.


Day 4: Hike to the French Valley

Today`s walk will be round trip, starting and ending at Paine Grande Refuge. We will leave very early right after breakfast in the shelter.

 

We will travel to the heart of the park bordering the blue waters of the Lake Skottsberg. After approximately 2.5 hours of walking, you will arrive at the Italian Camp, where we will begin the journey towards the French Valley.

 

We will go up big rocks and then we will continue through the forest until we reach the Mirador del Francés, where we will have our reward with the incredible views of Los Cuernos, lagoons turquoise glaciersand some amazing hanging glaciersthat tumble down the east face of Paine Mountain Large (3,050 meters above sea level).

 

If we`re lucky, we will be able to hear some resounding noise of the glacier falling, as well as It is very common to witness an avalanche. We will enjoy a replenishing box lunch and a well-deserved rest. We will return along the same path towards the Italian camp and then towards the Paine Grande refuge to enjoy a delicious and restorative dinner.


Day 5: Las Carretas Trail Walk – Return to Port Natales

Today we will enjoy a delicious breakfast at the Paine Grande Shelter and remember to order your box lunch. We will start the day touring the surroundings of the place, and then begin the return along the Las Carretas trail. To the end of the trail a private transfer will be waiting for us in the administration to head towards Puerto Natales.
