Our experience begins very early in the morning, at approximately 5:30 AM, when we will leave Coyhaique to go to a "Patagonian ranch" as the first rays of sun begin to appear. We will go through the internal paths of the residence to be able to arrive at "Las Condoreras" as soon as dawn breaks. There we will get out of our vehicles to walk quietly a short way, to see from the heights of the cliff our protagonist "El Cóndor" in his natural habitat.
With the Valley of the Moon as the setting After this beautiful sunrise, we will be able to contemplate and photograph the condors in their awakening from incredibly close distances. While we see how they fly through the sky around us, we will learn to differentiate them by sex and age, we will learn more about how they subsist in the area and also relevant information about their life and reproduction, thanks to the expert guides who accompany us throughout the experience.
After this wonderful experience, we will return to Coyhaique passing through two Tehuelche archaeological sites. In "El Picadero" we will be able to learn how they made their farming and hunting tools, and then we will visit a Chenque Cemetery, where we will learn more about the ancient funeral rituals, among other topics of interest about the Tehuelche culture.
We will return to Coyhaique at approximately noon to relax and enjoy the rest of the day.
