Day 1: São Luís/Barreirinhas/Lençóis Maranhenses
Starting at 6:40 a.m., depending on the location of the accommodation, boarding by air-conditioned vehicle to the city of Barreirinhas ( gateway to the Lençóis Maranhenses National Park). The route has an approximate length of 260 km, with an average duration of 03h30 and a brief stop in the city of Morros for bathrooms and coffee (not included). Check-in and accommodation. At 1:40 p.m. departure by 4x4 vehicle to the Grandes Lençóis Circuit. Cross the Preguiças River by ferry and continue along the path to the stopping point (about 40 minutes). Disembark and begin a light walk along the white sand to the crystal-clear lagoons, which form during the rainy season, with stops for swimming and contemplation of the beautiful landscape and appreciation of the sunset. Return to the vehicle along the same route to the hotel. Free night.
Day 2: Pequenos Lençóis
After breakfast, departure from the hotel to Av. Ribera and boarding the boat for the Circuit Preguiças River (APA – Environmental Protection Area). Along the way you can see the landscape of typical mangrove vegetation and the fauna of the region surrounding the river. The first stop is in the community of Vassouras, where you will find the little leaves and a small community of riverine and capuchin monkeys that live there and interact with the visitor. Continuation to Mandacaru, a small village that guards the Preguiças Lighthouse with 160 steps to enjoy a 360º view of the region with dunes, river, mouth, typical vegetation and the city. Finally, Caburé, a beach that is divided between the river and the sea. Stop for lunch (not included). Starting at 3:00 p.m., departure by boat passing through the river streams to Barreirinhas and overnight.
Day 3: Barreirinhas/Parnaíba
A 8:30 a.m. m., boarding in an air-conditioned vehicle for the city of Parnaíba. During the route you can see steps through the small leaves, passing through Paulino Neves, Tutóia and Lagoinha. The average duration is 03h30 hours. Stay the night.
Day 4: Beaches of the East Coast and Delta of the Americas with herd of Guarás
In the morning, after After breakfast, departure in an air-conditioned vehicle for a tour of the main beaches of the East Coast of Piauí (Luis Correia, Atalaia, Coqueiro and Macapá – visits to the beaches depend on the tide). Back to the hotel. At 2:30 p.m. departure for Porto dos Tatus and boarding a speedboat to explore the channels and streams of the Delta das Américas, visit Baía do Caju, Morro do Meio Dunes and, at the end of the day, the Guarás dormitory, bird red plumage that predominates in the region. Back to the hotel. Stay the night.
Day 5: Parnaíba/Jericoacoara
In the morning, at a time to be agreed, departure in an air-conditioned 4x4 vehicle (Hilux or similar) to Jericoacoara via Camocim, crossing the Coreaú River by ferry, passing through Ilha do Amor, Tatajuba, Lagoa da Torta, Guriú and Mangue Seco, crossing dunes, rivers and lakes as well as local towns (Duration: approx. 03h30) . Free night. Stay overnight.
Day 6: Jericoacoara
At 9:00 am, departure for a buggy ride along the east coast, where we will visit: Árvore da Preguiça, Praia do Preá, Buraco Azul (entrance not included), Lagoa Azul and Lagoa do Paraíso, where we will stay the rest of the day. Around 4:30 pm, scheduled arrival at Jericoacoara beach. Stay overnight.
Day 7: Jericoacoara/Fortaleza
After breakfast, at a time to be agreed, departure in an air-conditioned 4x4 vehicle (Hilux or similar) to the city of Fortaleza by road with an approximate duration of 5 hours.
