We will leave our selected hotels to travel 18 km from the Ponta Negra highway to the port of Manaus, where our tour will begin. The port is located in the center of the city and we will visit its interior, to then continue with a brief stop in front of the Rio Negro Palace, official seat of the State Government.
The next point of interest to visit is the Museum of the Indian, of the Salesian Congregation, the best place to understand the traditions and customs of the indigenous people. It is a collection of more than four thousand pieces made by different tribes that throughout the years inhabited the region. The exhibits include domestic utensils, musical instruments, ornaments and weapons.
Then, we will continue with an external visit to the Palace of Justice in the Amazon, built at the behest of Governor Eduardo Ribeiro. This building, inspired by the French and neoclassical styles, was converted and currently functions as a cultural center.
Finally, the tour is completed with a visit to the interior of the Amazon Theater, inaugurated in 1896, is one of the main tourist attractions of Manaus. It is a symbol of the rubber cycle, where all the wealth and greatness still passes through its corridors, halls and works of art.
Soon after, we return to the selected hotels, where the tour ends.
