Discover the European Valley in southern Brazil. Our tour starts in the city Blumenau , along the Itajaí-Açu River, which passes through the State of Santa Catarina, you will soon be in contact with a European landscape with an architecture with all the German influence. We will visit the Jardim da Cerveja , where the Museu da Cerveja is located, which tells the story of the drink and its development in the city. We will also go to the old Railway, which today is the current headquarters of the city hall; the Catedral Metropolitana , inaugurated in 1958, one of the postcards of the city, as it aimed to replace the first church established in Blumenau. And then we will go to Vila Germanica , with houses that look like villages in the interior of Germany, where the famous Oktoberfest beer festival, Brazilian Beer Festival, the Sommerfest and many others other festivals in the city. There we will make one for lunch.
We will move to the city of Pomerode, the most German city in Brazil. There you will find the half-timbered route, where you will see up close the houses that are made of wood, without nails, only embedded and filled with bricks, a model brought directly from Colonial Germany . We will also go to the Porcelain Schmidt store, which has 70 years of history in the city and you can purchase beautiful porcelains to take home; we will visit the city`s Museum, the Zoo , with a thousand animals over 240 species and considered the largest BioParque in Santa Catarina. We will travel to Parque Vila Encantada , which has the theme of dinosaurs and has attractions for the whole family and finish our tour at Cervejaria Artesanal, which also has all the German influence for brewing.
