The tour begins with passengers being picked up from their hotel in Bonito and heading to the Blue Lake Cave, one of the city`s postcard views.
Our contemplative and historical tour begins with a walk along a 300-meter trail. The trail is made up of footprints that make it a natural formation leading to the entrance of the cave. During the walk the guide will show you the native flora and fauna.
The descent to the cave is 200 meters, and is done by a staircase dug into the ground. We will go near the lake, but not inside it, as it is not allowed, which does not prevent us from being amazed by the intensely blue waters and the beautiful stalactites that have inhabited the cave for thousands of years.
Inside the lagoon, fossils of sabre-toothed tigers and giant sloths were found.
The tour ends with the return to the passengers` hotels in Bonito.
