The tour begins with the transfer from the hotels in Ushuaia to the "Don Eduardo Arturo Brisighelli" Tourist Port, where we will board the boat. As we move away from the coast, we will be able to see incredible panoramic views of the entire city and its most important buildings, as well as a combination of sea and mountains, highlighting the Mount Olivia, Cinco Hermanos, Estancias Fique and Túnel and the Encajonado River.
From there, we will take the boat to the Bridges Islands. Here we will descend to the islands for a quiet walk. On this island in the middle of the Beagle Channel, we will aim to appreciate the following attractions
- Yámanas Shell Farm: Close to the pier, we can find the archaeological remains of the settlements of the Yámanas or Yaganes, original inhabitants of the Beagle Channel. Through the guide`s stories, we will enter their world and imagine how they lived.
- Interpretation of the island`s flora: We will walk along the interpretation circuit to appreciate plants, flowers and fruits in this special ecosystem.
We will get back on board and sail southwest. We will get closer to Isla de Los Lobos and from the same boat, we will be able to watch these friendly marine mammals. We will observe the wolves for about 20 minutes in their natural habitat.
We will continue sailing and head towards Bird Island. This is the natural habitat of Magellanic Cormorants and Imperial Cormorants. From here we will have a privileged view to spot examples of marine birds.
The tour will continue towards the Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse, in the archipelago of the same name, where it is possible to see the Monte Cervantes ship, which was wrecked in 1930.
If you love photography, don`t worry! The catamaran will stop at the points of interest mentioned and make several turns so that passengers can take the best photos of the place.
We will begin the return to Ushuaia through Paso Chico, looking out over the Estancias Túnel and Fique. We will enjoy the beautiful view of the city from Monte Martial and the glacier of the same name.
