The excursion begins with a pick up at your hotel in downtown Ushuaia between 8:00 and 8:30 am. After a 25 to 40 minute drive from your hotel, inside Tierra del Fuego National Park, you will arrive at Ensenada Zaratiegui, also known as “Bahía Ensenada”. There, where the post office at the end of the world is located, you will take a short circular walk along the beach and through the forest, getting views of Redonda Island and the Chilean coast, on the other side of the Beagle Channel.
You will continue by vehicle to Lake Acigami (called Lake Roca for a time), Laguna Verde, Río Ovando, Archipiélago Cormoranes, and also Bahía Lapataia: the end of all roads in America. At these points of interest, we make the most of our time by taking some short, low-intensity walks.
Around 12:45 pm, we stop for lunch. It consists of snacks and a lunch box per person. Drinks included: mineral water, wine and soft drinks.
After lunch, at approximately 1:30 pm, we begin the return trip to the city, arriving at your hotel around 2:00 pm.
