We start together at the tourist pier in Ushuaia, where you will check in at our office.
At 2:00 PM, we board the catamaran and begin sailing the Beagle Channel in a northeast direction for approximately two and a half hours.
Throughout the journey, we will observe the different islands that make up the channel, such as Bird Island, where you will encounter a variety of bird species including albatrosses, cormorants, skuas, geese, and seagulls. We will also pass by Sea Lion Island, home to one-haired sea lions, imperial cormorants, and royal cormorants. Our destination is the southernmost lighthouse in all of Argentina, Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse.
There, we will disembark from the boat with a specialized guide and spend approximately 40 minutes on the island. We will visit the Magellanic penguins, with around 40 to 45 pairs of these incredible creatures living on the island throughout the year. This is the perfect habitat for these penguins, as there are very few predators in the area, abundant food, and the ground and vegetation provide suitable shelter for nesting and breeding.
We offer you the utmost comfort and safety. Our fleet of catamarans is the newest and most modern, equipped with state-of-the-art navigation instruments and cutting-edge engines that allow us to optimize navigation time and reduce fuel consumption, thus caring for the environment.
Throughout the tour, we will be accompanied by a guide who will provide information about what we are seeing and ensure that the island`s code of conduct is followed.
We will begin our return to Ushuaia, navigating the channel once again, at around 9:00 PM.
