The impressive Peninsula Valdés was declared a World Heritage Site for its incredible diversity in fauna, where can be found from giant whales, killer whales, seals, elephant seals, to birds flying accross the length and breadth of their beaches.
This is a full-day tour, accompanied by a professional guide on a select private tour.
The first stop will be at the Interpretation Center Carlos Ameghino Isthmus , where you can didactically learn all the details about the fauna, flora and geology of the Peninsula.
We will also appreciate the panoramic sites from the Nuevo Golfo, San José and la Isla de Pájaros.
Then, we will stop at Puerto Pirámides location where depending on the season you can take the whale watching (optional) or the nautical walk with snorkeling (optional).
Continuing the land journey, according to the station, the weather or tides, we will visit in different order or combining with other stops: Caleta Valdés, Punta Cantor and Punta Norte to observe elephants and sea lions .
The sighting of land killer whales can be done from Punta Norte, having more possibilities to see them in March, April and May. Also during September, October and November in Caleta Valdés less frequently.
The estimated return to the city is approximately at 18:30/7:00 p.m.
