Day 1: Puerto Iguazú to Yacutinga Lodge
Once your plane lands at the Puerto Iguazu Airport , you will be picked up by a vehicle that will take you directly to Yacutinga, an exclusive jungle lodge located 60 KM from the city of Puerto Iguazu.
During the tour we will notice the subsistence farming and livestock system that predominates in the Northeast of the Misiones Province.
The landscape is extremely picturesque, characterized by deep green, the reddish and clay roads, the Colonos and their Yerba Mate farms. In the middle of the afternoon, you arrive at the southern entrance of the Yacutinga Private Reserve, nestled in the heart of the Paranaense Forest.
Arrival at the lodge, reception, distribution of rooms . Presentation of the activities that will be carried out during the stay and introductory explanation about the environmental problems of the Selva Misionera and the actions that the lodge is developing to achieve its conservation.
Dinner.
Day 2: Yacutinga Lodge - Reserve Private Yacutinga.
After breakfast early in the morning there will be an interpretive walk into the Yacutinga Private Reserve , Accompanied by specialized guides who provide information on the various natural environments, their flora and fauna.
At mid-morning return to the Lodge and lunch.
Free time to enjoy the lodge`s amenities (swimming pool, observation towers, fire pit, bar).
In the afternoon you will navigate in kayaks by the calm waters of the Yacutinga Reserve. This is a good time for photo-safari and wildlife observation in general . This navigation lasts almost 3 hours, crossing in silence the area of Forest in Gallery.
Dinner.
For those more adventurous, the guides organize a night walk through the Jungle. Assisted by power sources and observation equipment to discover nocturnal fauna, in particular owls, owls and caprimurfidos that are find active during the night.
Day 3: Morning in Yacutinga and return to Puerto Iguazú.
Breakfast and time free to explore the surroundings of the Lodge, or simply relax in the Lodge area.
Mid-morning you will return to Puerto Iguazu , arriving at the hotel at 12:30 pm/1:00 pm, where the rental car will be waiting.
At the hotel you will check in and see your room.
Recommended activity: During the afternoon we recommend visiting the Iguazú Biocenter, jungle interpretation center. It is an excellent introduction to the destination since it allows to know the sustainable behaviors that are practiced in the destination, in addition to having the possibility of visiting a butterfly farm, serpentarium, birds and learning about the flora of the Atlantic Forest.

Day 4: Visit the Iguazú National Park - Iguazú Falls - Argentine Side
After breakfast, you will have all day to visit Iguazú National Park , located less than 20 km from the city.
Once you have paid the entrance to the park, you cannot miss visiting the three main circuits, which can be accessed through a train service or walking along the pedestrian path onal “Sendero Verde”. The circuits are:
Superior Walk: Route of 800 meters of footbridges in which the waterfalls can be observed from the upper part of the Dos Hermanas, Bosetti, Bernabé Méndez, M´Bigua jumps, among others. Duration of the walk one (1) hour.
Lower Walk: Walk of 1,600 meters of footbridge, elevated above the surface of the ground , having a view from the feet of the Dos Hermanas, Alvar Núñez, San Martín, Bosetti falls, the Peñón de la Bella Vista from where you have a panoramic view of the Devil`s Throat and the Lower Iguazú River Canyon. The duration of the tour is two (2) hours.
Devil`s Throat: Departing from the Station Cataratas, the train goes to Garganta Station in a time of approx. 18 minutes. The walk along the walkways has an extension of 1,200 meters until you reach the main balcony and enjoy the most spectacular and most important waterfalls of the Falls, the Devil`s Throat. The duration of the tour is two (2) hours.
Recommended activity: For adventure lovers, we recommend the tour < b> “Great Adventure” , which includes a ride on a movitrack through the jungle and a semi-rigid navigation through the rapids of the river until reaching some of the most important jumps (not allowed for children under 12 years).
Night in Puerto Iguazú.
Day 5: Puerto Iguazú - Minas de Wanda - El Soberbio
After breakfast and check out at your hotel, you will to leave for National Route 12 towards the south of the Province of Misiones, with final destination to El Soberbio, located 288 km from Puerto Iguazú.
After the first 50 km by RN 12, we recommend making a stop at the Wanda Mines, characteristic for being outdoors allowing visitors to tour the caves, observe the semiprecious stones and even observe the exact moment in which the operators carry out extractions.
Amethyst has been discovered in the Wanda mines, which has an almost purplish color and subjected to an incineration process. It turns yellow, giving rise to the topaz.
Once the visit is over, we continue the path and after 200 km, we arrive at El Soberbio .
Here you will be staying in a Jungle Lodge , where you will be able to enjoy the tranquility of the surroundings. Located in the middle of the jungle, it is a unique opportunity to live with nature. These lodges are built in such a way that they do not disturb the environment, respecting the native flora and fauna of the Paraná jungle.
We recommend spending the afternoon resting and exploring the surroundings of the accommodation.

Day 6: Moconá Falls
After breakfast, a full day of adventure activities awaits you.
You are going to visit the Moconá Provincial Park, which is located within the < b> Yabotí Biosphere Reserve is one of the largest protected areas in the Province of Misiones.
The main attraction of this park are the Saltos del Moconá , a unique show in the world due to u geological fault that runs parallel to the Uruguay River.
Recommended Activities:
Walk nautical: nautical excursion of more than 10km along the Arroyo Yabotí and the Uruguay River. The Moconá Falls are formed by the unevenness in the course of the Uruguay River, so its waterfalls are parallel to the riverbed. They create a corridor of jumps almost 3 km long and that can reach up to 10 meters in height.
The channel where the jumps fall is a geographical fault and its depth exceeds in some points the 170 meters. The activity lasts approximately one hour.
Hiking in the Jungle. Recommended trails: `` Chachí `` 1800 meters (low difficulty), `` La Gruta `` 600 meters, (high difficulty) and access to the Piedra Bugre jetty, 2 km (high difficulty).
Canoeing on the Uruguay River, kayak rental, swimming in the streams and 4x4 trips
IMPORTANT: The height of our jumps vary from day to day and this factor governs the qualification of the park and the river walk at the foot of the jumps
Night at El Soberbio.
Day 7: El Soberbio - Ruinas de San Ignacio - Posadas.
After breakfast, check out and collect your belongings, you will drive 175 KM in the direction of the City of Posadas to the Ruins of San Ignacio.
The Jesuit Ruins of the Mission of San Ignacio Mini were built 400 years ago and declared UNESCO World Heritage Site . San Ignacio is still inhabited by Guaraníes who cultivate Sweet Grass and Yerbateros, known for their crafts. Visiting this place will allow you to get to know a Jesuit village and you will learn about the local culture and history of the Province.
Once the visit, you will drive another 65 KM to the city of Posadas, capital of the province of Misiones.
