Awasi lodge offers you activities in different areas of the province of Misiones, you can choose between full day excursions (between 5 and 10 hours approx) with lunch included or half excursions day (between 2 and 5 hours approx), returning to the Lodge for lunch:
ZONE A: IGUAZÚ FALLS
- Devil`s Throat: Once in the Iguazú National Park, let yourself be surprised by the most impressive waterfalls of the Iguazú Falls, with a drop of 84 meters. Travel just over a kilometer on the footbridges that cross the wide delta of the Upper Iguazú River, appreciating the landscape of the jungle islands. Enjoy the activity of the birds, especially the waterfall swifts.

- Lower and upper circuit: Depart early from the Lodge to ensure a more intimate visit to these trails and peacefully walk its 3.5 km of comfortable walkways that will allow you to admire from above and from below the San Martín, Bossetti and Dos Hermanas waterfalls surrounded by exuberant vegetation.

- Macuco Trail: One of the least visited circuits in the National Park, with a total distance of 7 km, this hike offers you an approach to the Paraná jungle and its fauna, a good complement to discover, your own pace, the most rugged profile of the popular park where you can find El Salto Arrechea, a 20-meter-high waterfall, and the natural pool that forms at its feet marking the end of the trail

- Iguazu Falls Brazil: Seeing the Falls from Brazil offers a complementary experience to the Argentine side. Although the same jumps and cascades are observed, from these walkways you can appreciate an excellent panoramic view. The drive there requires crossing an international border. Once in the Park, it is possible to walk along the footbridges or add a bit of adventure to the experience by cycling the 12 km that separate the entrance to the Waterfalls Park.

- Güira Ora: Güira Oga is a refuge for native animals that are affected by problems such as the illegal trafficking of species, poachers or traffic accidents. Visiting this rehabilitation center is a way to support professionals who work for the preservation of endangered species and try to reintroduce them to their natural habitat.

- Triple Frontier: Know the history of Puerto Iguazú, visiting the area near the port, where the trunks of timber trees and the yerba mate harvested from the jungle used to come out. Sail by boat to appreciate the confluence of the Iguazú and Paraná Rivers, which serves as the limit for three countries: Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay and where the origin of the Iguazú Falls is located.

- Mbya Guarani Community : This excursion allows you to learn about the life, customs and traditions of the native Guarani, the original inhabitants of these lands and guardians of the Iguazú Falls. Be part of a meeting of cultures and let yourself be guided by the Guarani countrymen, who will reveal the traps with which they hunt for food, their traditional medicinal plants and will display their interesting craft production made with materials from the jungle.

ZONE B: ALTO PARANÁ
< b>- Alto Paraná Excursion: Explore the waters of the Parará river by kayak or boat, start the navigation where the river meets the Arroyo Urugua-í, discover a curious geological formation, in which semi-precious stone inlays can be seen and finally refresh yourself in the hidden Salto Yasí.

- Yerba Mate Dryer: The “mate” it is more than a drink: it is a true cultural icon in Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay and southern Brazil; discover the secrets of the plantations, the drying of their leaves and the production process of one of the economic engines of the region. * Only available at harvest time.

- Lake Urugua-i: Discover this lake sailing Stand Up Paddle and in the company of wildlife such as capybaras, herons and cormorants. This landscape became a natural sanctuary to preserve the quality of the ecosystem with low-impact activities, little human presence and some special conditions such as natural saltwater springs.

ZONE C: ATLANTIC JUNGLE
- Excursion to the Yacau-í Reserve: Appreciate the best preserved jungles in the region, we will cross the Iguazú National Park along the beautiful National Route No. 101 until we reach the Yacu-í de Awasi Reserve. Valuable species stand out in this region, such as rosewood trees, palmetto palms, and primitive arborescent ferns. The Little Yacu-í Stream will invite you to explore it by kayak, or you can simply enjoy a moment of rest and contemplation on its banks.

ZONE D: URUGUA-Í PROVINCIAL PARK
- Post Uruzú: This tour leads you to the Urugua-í Provincial Park, whose jungle in an excellent state of conservation constitutes a site recognized worldwide for its biodiversity. Its extensive trails are ideal for bird watching and a “barrero” site where salt naturally sprouts from the ground, offers you the chance to spot some mammal.

ZONE E : JESUIT MISSIONS
- Jesuit Missions of San Ignacio Mini, Our Lady of Loreto and Santa Ana: If you are interested in history and culture, do not hesitate to choose this excursion to visit the ruins of old Jesuit Missions, where Guarani peoples lived and worked in the 17th and 18th centuries. while they were evangelized. The three missions are UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

- Teyu Cuaré Provincial Park: This activity is a good opportunity for you to take an energetic hike through a little-known natural area.
