Gualeguaychú is a municipality in the Entre Rios Province, Argentina. Its main activities are industry, agriculture and tourism. The latter is based on two main attractions, the thermal complexes and the summer carnival.
The two thermal water complexes that Gualeguaychú owns extend over several hectares. They are oases of health and relaxation, characterized by their shallow pools, their therapeutic waters at 33º C and their multiple areas of relaxation.
The Carnival is the largest open air show in Argentina and considered one of the best carnivals in the world after Rio de Janeiro and Venice. Every Saturdays during January and February, the corsódromo hosts around 30,000 people per night, arriving mainly from Buenos Aires, Santa Fe and the rest of the country, as well as foreign audiences.
