Classic Corcovado River (from Corfo to Quilodrán Bridge):
We will meet at the Sol y Luna campsite, the operational base of Comarka Rafting, where the guides will welcome us to equip us. Once dressed, we will set off for the starting point, the Corcovado sawmill, where the technical and safety talk of the activity will be explained.
The first part consists of calm waters, ideal for practicing the rowing and safety techniques explained. It is also an opportunity to contemplate the beauty of the native forest and the birdlife of the place.
The waters accelerate as we approach the Cordillera, with class II and III rapids perfect for rafting with the right dose of adrenaline and safety. This way, we will alternate between rapids and backwaters, waterfalls, rock walls, cypress groves and open coasts during the two-hour tour, along the 13 km in the water.
The activity will end at the Cement Bridge, where transportation will be waiting for us to return to the base and change.
Corcovado River Border Option:
The presentation time is at 10 am, at the Sol y Luna campsite, in Corcovado. Special schedules for groups can be consulted privately.
After being dressed and having the technical and safety talk, we can begin the activity. In this case, the starting point is Río Hielo, 10 kilometers from Corcovado. After a first section of the journey where passengers came into contact with the river, the waters will accelerate in class III and IV rapids, during a 4-hour journey (22 kilometers in the water). Halfway through the route we will make a stop for lunch and to replenish our energy.
The activity ends at the Carrenleufú walkway, where the transport will be waiting for us to return to the base where they can change.
This exit respects the route of the classic descent (from Corfo to Puente Quilodrán) with the magical and mystical side of the night to live a more intense experience.
