The tour starts at 6:00 pm at the Plaza de los Pioneros in the city of El Calafate. Once there, we will meet the guide, who will be waiting for us with an empanada and a glass to taste the first grape of a Patagonian wine. In relation to this, the guide will tell us how the wine industry originated in the southern region of Argentina.
We will start our walking tour to know a little bit of the history of the city and we will walk along Libertador Avenue, Perito Moreno Square, the parish, the town hall, among others.
We will continue to the first house of the town where we will taste the second wine stock and we will go to the Pasaje Soto. While we move to the said passage, the guide will explain to us the evolution of the town and once there, we will taste the third wine while they tell us who was the character that gives name to the place.
Then we will go to the Parks Department and the guide will explain the role and importance of the National Parks for the development of the city of El Calafate.
Finally, we will arrive at the Wine Shop, where they will wait for us with a cheese board and a Patagonian sparkling wine, to make a toast as a closing of the tour.
After 2 hours, in the same place, the tour will end.
