Benroth

Among the protagonists of the best chocolate in Bariloche is Benroth, a small family business with 53 years in the market. Bernardo Benroth, born and raised in Bariloche, founded the company in 1965, after working in several hotels and learning the art of chocolate with French and Swiss chefs who visited the city. Also his teacher was the pioneer Aldo Fenoglio, a native of Torino (Italy) and founder of the first artisan chocolate shop in Bariloche in 1948.

Bernardo's daughter, Silvina and his son-in-law Eduardo Grassi took over 30 years ago. The third generation of Benroth works in the factory. 
The unmissable products of this traditional chocolate shop are: chocolates with orange and aguaribay, sour cherries macerated for six years in liquor and dipped in chocolate. Trekking snacks are also a delight for the palate: a mix of dried fruits, cereals, honey and chocolate designed for hiking in the mountains.

Leticia Fenoglio, daughter and granddaughter of master chocolatiers is another protagonist of the Barilochense world of chocolate with her brother Aldo and her father Diego, founder of the Rapanui store on Miter Street, the chocolate shop most visited in Bariloche. 

The family brand was born in 1996 and created products that became classics, such as the star chocolate FraNui, Raspberries from El Bolsón bathed in two chocolates.
