Viña del Mar, called Ciudad Jardin is a coastal resort city northwest of Santiago, Chile. It is known for its gardens, beaches and tall buildings. The Vergara dock was built on 10 North Street with the function of being a small jetty where the goods left. On August 28, 2016, it was reopened after repairs and allowed to be used again as a place for walking and sport fishing, as well as serving as a viewpoint to the bay and the sea.
