The visit to the Isla de los Lobos is included in the maritime excursions that leave from the city of Ushuaia, Tierra del Fuego. One of the most important is navigation through the Beagle Channel, where the famous postcard of the Les Eclaireurs lighthouse (Los Iluminadores, in Spanish) stands out, a passage through the islets, near where Monte Cervantes was beached before its sinking and the Martial mountain ranges.

The tour begins in the tourist port of Ushuaia, from where the catamarans depart. Navigation takes you on a tour of the wide Bay heading to the Beagle Channel. In turn, as the first attraction and as you move away, you will be able to have views
incredible views of the southernmost city in the world, from the water.

Navigation borders the Isla de los Pájaros where there are different species such as southern gulls, gulls and gray gulls, black-browed albatrosses, cauquenes, Pacific steam ducks and the most distinguished: a colony of Imperial Cormorants.
Finally you reach the famous Isla de los Lobos! Both islands belong to the Bridges archipelago.
In it, this species is found in its permanent and natural habitat, together with an ideal landscape for photography.

You will be able to observe sea lions of two types:

- Wolves with one hair: their name is due to the fact that they only have one coat of fur. They have a lighter coat and the males can reach 2.50 meters and weigh up to 350 kg.

-Woods with two hairs: it has double fur of a very dark color, with a pointed snout. Males can reach 1.60 meters long.

It is important to note that the sightings are always from the catamaran and being a Marine Reserve it is not allowed to swim either.

Nature and Sea Lions as main stars are the ideal combination to enjoy this family outing.
