In this article you will find a complete guide to the best food and restaurants in the city so that you can enjoy all the typical flavors.

In  Bariloche   you have the perfect gastronomic combination together with the unique and exquisite flavors of  Patagonia, the talent of the most renowned chefs and the most natural ingredients.

You will find a large number of products from  algae, clams, trout and salmon   coming from the nearby rivers passing through  mushrooms, blueberries, blackberries and raspberries   from the forest to red and white meats, where  lamb, wild boar and deer stand out.

As these products are more abundant during spring and summer, many of the foods are prepared canned or  smoked   to be enjoyed over all in exquisite dishes in winter.

The traditional dishes of Bariloche are the result of the combination between the cuisine of the  indigenous peoples   and the  European , since many of its ingredients were brought by the immigrants who settled there. Such is the case of  Curanto , one of the most traditional foods in the region. It is a stew of Mapuche origin with European influence that is prepared outdoors in a well dug in the ground, where a fire, stones and leaves make it cook under pressure. The result is a truly exquisite dish that is served with bread, white wine or one of the traditional  craft beers   of the area.

Another of the typical delights of Bariloche are its exquisite chocolates in branch, fillings, in tablets, waterfalls or in fondeus. It is almost impossible to resist and they are offered everywhere.

In Bariloche you can choose from hundreds of places to taste regional cuisine and experience the flavors with incredible landscapes. Below  we leave you the most outstanding ones:

The bistro opened its doors at the end of June 2008 and slowly earned a place in the local fine dining. Having a maximum of 18 chairs means that most of the time I work full. Another feature is that it has a different vegan gourmet menu every noon.

Another must-see is the mushroom wrapping and the Huancaino seafood , prepared with a Peruvian recipe. A recommended drink to accompany these entrees can be torrontés wine naturally sweet.
