Puerto Natales was founded in 1911. It is one of the most important urban places in Patagonia.

Puerto Natales is the gateway to beautiful landscapes like Torres del Paine National Park. In this park, it is the world-famous mountain formations called Torres del Paine and Cuernos del Paine.

Bernardo O’Higgins National Park
The wildlife is abundant due to its native forest that grows in the middle of the fjords. This area is the home of the Kawésqar people.
Glaciers are the main attraction; and here, you will find boat tours to behold the Glaciers' magnificence. It is an unforgettable experience.
In addition, It is also possible to know the park on horseback.
Cueva del Milodon Natural monument
This is a site of paleontological interest. It consists of three caves which have their remains intact. The legend says that the rock, known as the "Devil's Chair", was used by the Mylodon as a throne.
You can take some time to have a picnic in this area because there are special places to eat in the middle of nature.
Dorothea Hill
Dorothea Hill is a place for trekking. Once at the top, you will be amazed by the views.
From there, you can see the city of Puerto Natales, the Última Esperanza fjord and the Admiral Montt Gulf.
Sailing through the Balmaceda and Serrano Glacier
To admire the grandeur of these virgin lands you have to visit these glaciers. The trip begins on Puerto Bories jetty. In this tour, you can see colonies of cormorants and sea lions.
You can see the Balmaceda Glacier from the boat, but if you want to visit Serrano Glacier you have to take a short walk around the lake.
