A coastal city in the state of Bahia, with its generous vegetation and beautiful beaches, traveling to Porto Seguro is one of the most frequented destinations. This city has no less than 85 km of beaches with transparent waters and white sands. Its privileged climate attracts travelers from all over.

Not only beaches we can enjoy in Porto Seguro, also a well-equipped tourist infrastructure, with first-class accommodation and an intense nightlife. As if that were not enough, it has a rich historical heritage and an important biodiversity.

The tourism in Porto Seguro is centered around its beaches of warm waters, where in addition to the daytime activities, with gastronomic establishments that offer a huge variety of food and drinks, you can enjoy endless parties, stages and dance floors, where they offer classes of typical dances of the region and of all Brazil. The carnival has in this city, one of its main cultoras that is always willing to receive visitors.

The magnificent beaches of Porto Seguro undoubtedly represent the main attraction of Porto Seguro. Anyway there is a distinctive in particular, which means that all tourists can find your ideal place to spend your vacation in this wonderful tourist destination of Brazil. Here is a brief description of each of them:

Taperapuã Beach
It is a spa with greater movement of Porto Seguro due to the large number of tourists who visit it. The wide variety of attractions that have become a popular tourist site, since there can be made from water activities such as kayaking and banana boat rides, to a helicopter ride that allows you to see the coast from an unbeatable angle. In addition, its gentle waves and natural pools are an invitation to take a bath in a very safe way.

Mundai Beach
This beach is characterized by being very quiet, since it is the one chosen by those families who have small children due to the safety of its waters, which always look calm, as well as warm and transparent. The numerous natural pools that make the ideal place for diving lovers, especially on low tide days. This beach is also distinguished by the different chiringuitos that perch on its sand, where you can consume drinks and delicious dishes.

Two Mangues River Beach
This is one of the most important beach in the city, being one of the most popular sites in the region. On the beach there are sectors that allow to practice typical Brazilian sports such as beach soccer or volleyball, which are the main fun that tourists find. It is also famous for the "lambaerobic" practice, a mix between lambada and aerobic choreography. In the place you can see small shopping centers and even banks, a fact that makes visitors have everything they need at hand.

Curuipe Beach
Being located three kilometers north of the city, this beach is also characterized by being very quiet and ideal for those traveling as a family. Its natural pools, few waves and reefs made it very popular for diving enthusiasts.

Itacimirim Beach
This beach is about 3.5 kilometers from the center of Porto Seguro, and occupies a length of approximately one kilometer. It is characterized by having very fine white sand bathed by warm and calm waters that offer good conditions for bathing at any time of the day. It is distinguished by the shade offered by its palm trees and by the service of its chiringuitos, which specialize in seafood preparation.

Ponta Grande Beach
This beach is located almost 10 kilometers from Porto Seguro and is distinguished by the calm that the sea gives and the shade thrown by palm trees, which help to cope with days of intense heat. The beach is protected by reefs, which at the low tide form wonderful natural pools.

Beach of Mutá
This beach is also located about 10 kilometers from the city, being the last one of the north coast when being in the border with the locality of Coroa Vérmela. Visiting this place has become almost an obligation for tourists who like to fly
