Montevideo, capital of Uruguay.  Plaza de la Independencia in the heart of the city connect to old city, mixing art deco, neoclasic and colonial architecture  as Palacio Salvo y Solís  Theatre. The old  Port Market is full of restaurants to taste the best meats.  

Montevideo has many tours, and walks for entertainment, and different attractions as wide green walks at  parks as Andalucía, Capurro, Dr. Carlos Vaz Ferreira, Caesar Díaz, Dr. Julio César Grauert,  Arq. Eugenio Baroffio, Fernando García, Brig. Gral. Fructuoso Rivera,  Brig. Gral. Juan Antonio Lavalleja, General Líber Seregni, De las Instrucciones del año XIII, Lecocq, José Batlle y Ordóñez, José Enrique Rodó, Dr. Juan Zorrilla, San Martín, Prado and Tomkinson. All those are important  Parks in Montevideo.
in Batlle Park is Centenario Stadium  where the first football world Championship was held.  For beach lovers there are many alternatives:  Montevideo Green Beach,  Ramírez, Pocitos, Carrasco, Buceo, Malvin, only for mentioning the most known. to the  west  such as La Colorada, Punta Espinillo, Punta Yeguas, Playa Zabala o Playa Santa Catalina.
Shopping centers or Malls have became an important attraction lately for tourist:  Montevideo Shopping (1985), Shopping Tres Cruces (1994), Portones Shopping (1994),  
Punta Carretas Shopping (1994), Nuevocentro Shopping (2013).  Montevideo is cradle of Tango, Candle and  Murga uruguaya, and there are various activities with music. 

Montevideo has a varied offer that includes historical walks, nightclubs, beaches, and agricultural tourism (tourist stays, wine cellars and farms) on its outskirts.
