    • Key dates: The largest crowds gather during Holy Week and Difunta Correa Day (April 1). If you prefer to avoid crowds, try visiting at another time of the year
    • Climate: Very hot in summer and cold in winter. Bring appropriate clothing for the season.
    • What to bring: Although there are shops at the sanctuary, it’s advisable to bring water and some snacks.
