Due to the high demand for tickets, clubs prioritize their members. Fans pay a monthly fee to maintain and acquire certain benefits within the club. This is also the case for the Avellaneda team, which separates its ticket sales into "VIP" and general. The first is, logically, for official members, ensuring them entry regardless of the match. The second is for those who want to attend a specific game without belonging to the institution. Both are sold online to streamline the sales process.

There is another way to attend events, and here’s the answer. By clicking the link below and selecting the match that interests you the most, you can get tickets and experience what this remarkable club has to offer.

INDEPENDIENTE: A BIT OF HISTORY

It was founded on January 1, 1905, by a group of young workers from a store called "A la Ciudad de Londres." Discontent with restrictions to participate in the original club, they decided to form their own. Thus, Independiente was born, identified from its beginnings with the red jersey, symbolizing rebellion and characteristic passion.

Although it started playing in lower leagues, Independiente quickly stood out for its competitive spirit and desire for improvement. In 1907, it joined the Argentine Football Association and in 1912 participated in its first official league. The club's first headquarters was in the La Boca neighborhood, but later moved to Avellaneda, where it built its own stadium, known as the "Libertadores de América."

Independiente’s first major success came in 1922 when it won its first official championship. This title marked the beginning of a series of sports successes. During the 1930s, Independiente won several titles, establishing itself as one of the strongest teams in the Argentine league. In 1938 and 1939, it won two consecutive championships, establishing itself as an elite club.

The 1970s were even more successful for Independiente. In 1972, it won the Copa Libertadores again, and it did so once more in 1973, 1974, and 1975, achieving an impressive record of four consecutive titles in the tournament. This dominance in the Copa Libertadores earned it the nickname "King of Cups." Additionally, in 1973, Independiente won the Intercontinental Cup, defeating Juventus of Italy and being crowned world club champion.

Nationally, it was also dominant during this period. It won several Argentine league championships, consolidating its position as one of the most powerful clubs in the country. In 1983 and 1984, Independiente shone again, winning the league championship and another Copa Libertadores in 1984.

The history of such a remarkable club as Independiente is vast and can be approached from many angles. Its past, present, and future are impressive and inspiring. For this reason, it is essential to attend some of its matches, whether home or away.
