How to get Boca Juniors tickets?

The only way I can think of explaining what I feel for Boca Juniors is to say that what I´m about to tell you, was one of the strongest experiences I had in my life.

Ever since I can remember I loved soccer and have always been a huge Boca Juniors fan all my life. One of the first memories I have is watching my father crying because Boca had won a big game. I didn´t understand much about football yet, but I knew that if it made my father cry, it had to be important.

For working reasons, me and my family had to leave Argentina: first we moved to México and then to Spain, where we live now. We´ve been living abroad for a long time, but our passion for football is intact (and maybe even a little stonger as time passes).

Once every two years we travel back to Argentina to visit friends and family, but for many different reasons we didn´t get to see a Boca game in La Bombonera, Boca Juniors Stadium (we did in fact get the chance to go to Boca Juniors museum, with the guided tour to the Stadium, which was great).

Last year I decided to do something about this: I told my dad that because of legal family issues we had to travel to Argentina for a week, but not with the whole family: only the two of us. The familly issue was true, but I had a second secret reason: see a Boca game.

The problem now was: ¿How to get tickets? I knew it was really hard to get tickets for a Boca Juniors game, because the capacity of the Stadium is reserved for members only. But luckily one of my dearest friends in Argentina had told me many times that if I ever needed, he knew where to go. I had heard stories of people buying (expensive) tickets in unreliable places and then, once in the stadium, getting kicked out because the tickets were fake.

My friend told me to call this Tourist Agency: at first I found this a little weird, that a place like this would be the solution: but it certainly was. I contacted them and they offerd what I needed: Argentinean Football Tours (not only the ticket, also the tranfers and a guide that was going to be escorting us). Great option!

When we arrived to Argentina, I told my dad that Boca was playing on that Sunday, and it was an important game, so we could go down to some local bar to see the game. I will never forget the grin on my father face when we got the call to our hotel room saying that the guide and the bus to the Boca game was waiting for us downstairs: I could tell he was really happy.

We arrived to the Stadium with plenty of time to feel the atmosphere, the stadium was crazy full of people. Amazing.  Boca won 1-0. We finally got to see a Boca Juniors game in La Bombonera, a mythical Stadium. I hope it was the first, but not the last, time!

As I said in the beggining, this was one of the strongest experiences I had in my life.
I saw my father getting emotional again, and this time I was too.

I really recommend the FOOTBALL TOURS.
Thanks TANGOL for making all this possible.

Hallo.
