A FEW YEARS AGO, A GROUP OF ATHLETICS LOVERS DECIDED THAT BUENOS AIRES SHOULD HAVE ITS MARATHON. THE INITIAL IDEA WAS TO INSTITUTE AN INTERNATIONAL LEVEL COMPETITION, WHICH WOULD SERVE AS AN EXCUSE FOR THE ATHLETES OF THE WORLD TO DISCOVER AND ENJOY THE BEAUTIES OF THE CITY. & NBSP;

THUS, SINCE 2003, THE ÑANDÚ FOUNDATION, WITH THE SUPPORT OF THE CITY GOVERNMENT AND A LARGE NUMBER OF VOLUNTEER COLLABORATORS, IS IN CHARGE OF THE ORGANIZATION OF THE BUENOS AIRES INTERNATIONAL MARATHON, WHICH YEAR AFTER YEAR HAS SHOWN SURPRISING GROWTH, WHICH LED IT TO BE COMPARED TO COMPETITIONS OF THE DIMENSIONS OF ITS PARIS OR BOSTON COUNTERPART, AND EVEN THAT OF SAINT PAUL, CONSIDERED THE MOST IMPORTANT IN SOUTH AMERICA. & NBSP;
