Apart from delighting us with its unique scenery and the smooth beaches of its river banks, Entre Ríos invites us to the ideal place to rest—twelve thermal resorts to relax with all the comforts.

The benefits of thermal waters have been known for centuries. In The Americas, ever since the pre-Columbian era, when they were considered to have a divine origin, they proved ideal to benefit body balance and to prevent or treat diseases. Due to their high temperature and mineral properties, these warm baths are highly recommended to fight respiratory, circulatory and rheumatic conditions, among others, and to relieve stress; but they are also one of the best alternatives to enjoy the pure pleasure.

Entre Ríos province, embraced by Uruguay and Paraná Rivers, displays an exuberant natural richness, and the opportunity to engage in thermal tourism does not escape its major attractions. Twelve of its cities feature fabulous thermal resorts: Chajarí, Concepción del Uruguay, Colón, Federación, María Grande, La Paz, San José, Gualeguaychú, Concordia, Victoria, Villa Elisa, and Basavilbaso. Apart from thermal pools immersed in the natural beauty of the Littoral region, all of them offer spa services and recreational activities for the whole family.

Colón
Its thermal resort, with a view onto Uruguay River and located a few meters away from the golf course, has 10 swimming pools (two of them only for children) with an approximate temperature of 36°C (97°F). Some of them located indoors and others outdoors, these swimming pools have different characteristics, such as pressure jets and showers, as well as different depths. For full comfort, the resort includes spa, convenience store, fast-food dining, and all the necessary services (rental of bathrobes, sun umbrellas, tables and chairs). The city of Colón glitters also for its historical richness, amazing beaches, and numerous options of adventure and rural tourism. Nearby, El Palmar National Park is one of the most visited places every year by local and foreign tourists.

Federación
This was the first city in Entre Ríos to build a thermal park. Although it is located in the urban area of the city, it is characterized by its lush scenery on the shore of Lake Salto Grande. Apart from 12 swimming pools, like most of the resorts, it has parking lot, a restaurant, quinchos (thatched barbecue areas) and a spa, among other services. But this park stands out for its recreational area of cold water—ideal for those who want to boast with dives and enjoy swimming—, an exclusive swimming pool for people with special needs (with bathrooms and changing rooms specially designed, too) and a small museum about the first thermal well in the region.

Villa Elisa
Ideal for health care, this resort, located very close to important urban areas, offers swimming pools with different temperatures and functions—some have hydro jets and neck jets while others are for recreation and for children. The most special and spectacular pool has artificial waves. The spa, with a view onto the lake, is the first Thermal Recreational Spa of Argentina's Littoral region. Among its main services, it features a thermal recreational swimming pool, a path of sensations, a Scottish shower, and sauna. This resort, one of the most complete of the country, offers a variety of alternatives for all tastes and all ages—golf course, tennis court, football field, volleyball court, and deck shuffleboard court; long paths to bike or walk; as well as pedal boats and cable ski to enjoy in the lake. Other advantages are its comfortable facilities (hotel, bungalows and camp site) to spend the night within the premises.

There are many options and all of them are a must. If you want to relax and have fun in the warm thermal waters of Entre Ríos surrounded by the wonders of the Littoral region, come to Tangol. The travel agency (located at Defensa 831 and Florida 971, Ground Floor, Suite 31) offers everything you need to enjoy this option that combines health, pleasure, and nature.
