LA RIOJA
La Rioja is situated in the Cuyo Region in Argentina.
The latitude and distance to the sea generate a dry and warm weather, light days and cold nights. The closeness to the Capricornio Tropic allow the presence of warm winds and for that reason the most hot season goes on and the winter come in a no intense way. About the 48 % of the province surface is occupied with mountains: The mountain range, foot mountain and pampeana hills go from north to the south. There are big contrasts: big Andean peaks, plains and valleys. Desert weather takes priority apart from the area where a number of rivers feed agricultural oasis.
One of the outstanding attractions is the Talampaya Nacional Park, national heritage.
