The bus leaves from El Chaltén and rides northwards across Road nº 23 (2 ½ hours trip). This road runs by the side of Rio de las Vueltas and finishes on the south shore of the lake.Once there, you will have free time to walk around and you either take a sailing across Lago del Desierto (2½ hours), or walk across an interesting trails that leads to Huemul Lagoon (one hour one way).
